Spring Fling

The Milky Way arches over the Sangre De Cristo mountains to the east of Taos, New Mexico, while the Rio Grande river flows through the Rio Grande Gorge 600 feet below me. Springtime is the only time this alignment happens, and it's only good for photography a few days a month, so the opportunity to capture this panorama is fleeting each year.
