How Dare You Disturb The Domain Of The Marmot Pig Witch?

On a perfectly cloudless and still night at Mount Evans' Echo Lake, my photography partner and I were shooting the Milky Way. About midnight we heard an otherworldly blood-curling scream that was completely alien to us. We could only describe it as a "Marmot Pig Witch". After about 5 minutes the shrieking subsided and we decided to risk our lives to capture some of the best skies I've ever seen. The Marmot Pig Witch allowed us to stay.
