Sometimes You Show Up At Exactly The Right Moment In Time

Sometimes you wait around forever for the perfect photo to come into view. Sometimes you just show up, get out your camera, and snap a photo to get the shot you want. After a long day of driving through a heavy September snowstorm (seriously!), we got to Moab in the late afternoon. Instead of bumming around, we raced out to Dead Horse Point State Park with the hopes of catching the sunset. We arrived just a few minutes before this photo was taken, as if the sunset was waiting for us to get there.
